Doerr-Hosier Center at the Aspen Institute
The Aspen Institute is a nonpartisan forum for the exchange of ideas. On the Aspen Meadows campus, the Doerr-Hosier Center is known for being a LEED Gold-certified building nestled in the forest landscape. This 22,000 square foot, $15 million business center includes meetings rooms, a large conference space, lobby, and reflecting pool that serves as a geothermal energy center to heat and cool the facility. Salter consulted on room acoustics to promote speech intelligibility and provided recommendations to reduce ventilation system noise and sound transmission between rooms.
